1. After Brewing, discard grounds (great for the compost), and thoroughly rinse your filter.

2. Rinse you CoffeeSock® and squeeze out excess water.  No further cleaning is necessary, mild detergents are ok if you wish.

3. Hang to dry thoroughly before next use.

4. Periodically, once every 6-8 weeks  boil filters in fresh water for 10 minutes to remove accumulated coffee oils.  If the filters are soiled with perishable food at anytime, boil for at least 10 minutes to sanitize.  Additionally, you can add a scoop of baking soda to further enhance your filter.
